They used to be real good, but not anymore. Recently I've caught them lying to me about in-stock product and accurate shipping dates. They got in the Jing Chi Live CD a week before they began filling backorders. I've found stuff cheaper at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. If I can source it somewhere else than Audiophile, I will. Good luck.

Lee, if what you want is in stock you should get it in a week. I wouldn't pay any extra for shipping, it has to cross the Atlantic regardless.
Audiophile is the court of last resort for me now; I will only buy from them if no one else has it. Their ETAs got so spotty you might as well buy it off the Internet first. There have been two or three incidents. Once I was told a certain CD would be in stock in a week. A week later they said it would be two or three more weeks; my inquiry reminded them of the order. That CD was $23 and shipping was $5 or $6 more and I could've bought it from the guy's website for $20 including shipping. Nobody's fault but mine. In the future though . . .
Audiophile is in the business of selling CDs, Me2, so they aren't going to say anything sucks. To be fair they have recommended some great stuff. But some dreck too.

I personally think the Ultimate Drummer's DVD is over priced and over rated. Weckl and Donati put in great performances but the others drummers on this are just so so.......

Audiophile is still the only place dedicated to selling Jazz music in all it's forms. I've got great respect for that.
It's an operation run by 2 guys so I think as they've gotten bigger, especially in the last 3 years their service has gotten a lot worse. I'll admit I don't buy much there anymore for the same reasons that have been mentioned here but I don't know if I'd personally go so far as to tell people to stay away. They're doing a pretty big service for the music community IMO. (and of course trying to make a buck in the process)

Agreed Derek, I still order from Mark.I have never had a problem with delayed shipments only if it's not in stock and he will tell me if it's backordered. Like CAB4.... They carry hard to find items and sometimes get hit with foriegn currency to the dollar, so they have to put tha in the price, yes sometimes you can get itmes they carry in others stores like Borders or towerr but other times allot of what they carry you will not see here.

I just ordered Marco Minnemann's Broken Orange Cd from them, and it came in two days. But them again, I live an hours drive away from them.
When an item is out of stock, there isn't much they can do but call.
Of course I check amazon, but Marco's CD's ain't there.
By the way, Burnt Orange is an excellent CD. Very different, but Marco is ripping on it, and the songs are quite good. It is Marco on drums, GTR, and Keyboards, with a piano guy, and bass, with vcls on a few tracks. I like it, adn i can see myself listening to it alot.
Instead of getting Jing Chee--get Burnt orange. Marco's is well worth the 19.99. Or if you need more Vinnie, get the Jessica Andrews CD---he's on three cuts, and one cut is vinnie playing like vinnie-not Baked Potatoe style, but you know what I mean---hihat junk, flams and stuff

In addition to wowing the crowds at night as a drum star I worked a shipping & receiving day gig and learned that shipping outfits like Audiophile get discounts in the 30% to 40% range. So, Me2, the $8 price tag to ship to you 'conceivably' put another two or three bucks back in Audiophile's pocket.
To be fair MOST shipping companies get these discounts. It would be business idiocy to not take advantage of them. Just FYI.

Yes 5/8 it always made me wonder because, the box never says $8 shipping.
What can you do though when you want it, and ya just gotta have it. Call audiophilebusters!
